We’re proud to be playing a part in the refurbishment of one of Worthing’s best-known cultural landmarks, the Connaught Theatre, by providing our services free of charge as part of the refurbishment of its public washroom facilities.
The project will see the first-floor male and female washrooms next to Fraser’s Bar upgraded, improving the facilities for the thousands of people who visit the theatre each year.
Two Worthing histories come together
Our involvement includes upgrading and making alterations to services associated with the refurbishment of the washroom facilities, alongside the installation of new sanitaryware kindly supplied by Ideal Standard at a preferential rate.
The work is scheduled to begin in September 2026.
Managing Director Andy Prager said:
“Paine Manwaring has been part of Worthing for over three hundred years, and the Connaught is one of the town’s great iconic buildings. When WTM approached us, it was an easy decision. As a long-standing local business, we are delighted to have the opportunity to give something back to the community and play our part in making this happen. We look forward to seeing audiences enjoy the difference it makes.”
Proud of our past and investing in the future
For us, this project is an opportunity to combine our expertise with something equally important: continuing to contribute to the community where our story began.
We’re looking forward to getting started and seeing the difference the improvements make for visitors to the Connaught Theatre.
