When customers need plumbing or heating work carried out in their home or business, quite often they will have questions about the work required.

In this blog we look to answer some of the questions most often asked, so that you can be better informed on what to expect when having a plumber, heating specialist, or boiler engineer visit you.

If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, then please do give a member of our team a call. We’d be pleased to help.

Your questions answered

  • How much will the work cost?

All of the work that we do is quoted for on an individual basis, depending on what is required to complete the job to the highest standard. You will receive a clear quote with a breakdown of the costs involved. Once you have agreed to the quote, we will commence work and you can be sure that there won’t be any hidden or unexpected fees cropping up further down the line.

  • Do I need a new boiler?

It’s hard to tell whether or not you will need a new boiler until our expert boiler engineers have carried out a full assessment of what the issues are and what might be required to fix your existing one. We realise that the cost of a new boiler can be big and, as such, if we are able to, and you would like us to, we will repair your existing boiler. Our team will always advise you on your options and make sure that you are completely clear on what’s involved.

  • When can you come and do the job?

Our availability will depend on the size of the job, your location and the level of urgency. We will always endeavour to get to you as soon as we can, but to be on the safe side, it’s best to book your work as far in advance as possible.

  • Are you available in an emergency?

When you need heating or plumbing services in a hurry, we are always on hand to help. Our 24-hour, 365-day a year emergency plumber callout service is there for those instances which we can’t predict.

  • Are you fully licensed and insured?

All of our team is highly qualified, registered with all relevant industrial bodies and fully insured. Not only that, our extensive experience with valued domestic and commercial customers means you can be certain you are employing a reputable, professional and skilled company that places your needs at the centre of all that it does.

  • Are you Gas Safe registered?

This is an important question, as it is a legal requirement that anyone who carries out work on a gas appliance must be listed on the Gas Safe register. It’s also your guarantee that your appliances will be worked on safely. You will be pleased to know that all of our heating and plumbing engineers are Gas Safe registered.

  • Can I see some references?

When using a heating or plumbing company for the first time, it’s always a good idea to check what people who have used them before had to say. This will give you the peace of mind that you can expect a professional job to be done. Take a look at our Google reviews or read the testimonials which our past customers have left for more details.

Just give us a call and a member of our expert team will be there to assist. Please dial 01903 237522 and press option 1 for plumbing and 2 for electrical.
